High-definition digital printing for eyewear
Metal eyewear design has never been so wild since the development of high definition digital printing. With no limitation on choice of color and area, we can create any pattern, graphic design, shades and location of the color application. High definition printing has been one of the most successful technologies D. I. Ware pioneered. We have developed a special surface treatment that offers high protection on the colors that does not fade or chip over time.
AI spray paint robot
Originally developed for the automobile industry and adopted by the eyewear industry, the AI paint robot is one of the most powerful machines in our factory. The AI robot controls the shade, thickness, and position of the paint go on the frame with the algorithm and robot arm that control spray guns timing, amount of paint, and angle on the frame. It provides 100% consistency on shades 100% coverage on the frame that leaves no spot behind.
The AI paint bot technology achieves a much higher quality touch that surface is exceptional refine with even coloration on every spot of the frame including the back on hinge bending area.
AI cleaning robot – key to product surface life cycle
What makes a product truly high in quality could be basic yet demanding. We invest in the latest technology in the purifying process before going to coloration to ensure the best result possible.
Our AI cleaning bot control the temperature, timing and purity of the water that leave no allowance on error.
After the frames are in its' purified state, the coloring process is promising with the best adhesiveness which determines the life cycle of the final products. Together with dust free coloring lab facility, you can make premium quality products that are different from the look to the touch.
Technologies in Acetate Processing
High density acetate – the thin, strong, modern simplicity
High-density acetate materials offered by materials suppliers have a longer lead time, a smaller selection of colors, and limitations on using automatic machine production. However, D. I. Ware’s in-house process has no limitation at all, you can choose any color and create an ultra-thin and super-strong product.
A unique acetate hardening process developed by our engineer allows us to make super thin, lightweight acetate eyewear with better construction and strength.
It goes as thin as 1.8 on front and 2.0 for top comparing to non high density acetate of 2.0 and 2.3., it offers a modern and minimalism feel that look good on all faces.
Acetate multi-color lamination
Our lamination technique allows us to combine multiple acetate colors seamlessly. It unlocks all possibilities of putting the latest color trend, shapes, and textures of acetate glasses and acetate sunglasses. It is best for design concepts to play with different colors. Technologies in Production Machinery
Automatic acetate production line
Our automatic CNC machine allows us to have very accurate and high-volume output in our acetate production line. One CNC machine replaces up to 10 manual work stations and ensure 100% accuracy.
Automatic hinge insert machine
Hinge placing is critical for the construction of acetate frame. To have the hinge in perfect position, we use a special program to calculate each frames’ thickness to determine the exact insert point, angle and depth before drilling the hole and inserting the hinge. Thanks to this unique program, we always have perfect alignment on every single frame.
Automatic front bending machine
We use individual front curve moulding for each design to ensure 100% accuracy, unlike the conventional way of using unify curving moulding for different products. Our acetate frames stay in perfect shape after years of usage thanks to this technology together with our heating before bending and cooling treatment final process.
High frequency friction lamination machine
Using high-frequency friction technology to laminate nose pads and endpieces on frames is the best practice for eyewear production. Not only it is fast, accurate, and strong, but also it is eco friendly and does not require the use of chemical products like before.

Front acetate snap laser cutting machine
100% precise laser cutting machine allow us to have perfect dimensions of snaps which enable the use of automatic CNC machine. Not only it is accurate, it also save materials up to 15% thanks to its super thin cutting line.
100% automatic 3D temple core tooling
Our unique 3D temple core mold ensures 100% accuracy in the position of the metal core and has zero wastage. It is the best for clear-color acetate temples with very wide and thick designs. It also shapes the spoon at the end of the tips to save one process step and mold can also make the recess step for the logo at the same time.
